Michael Yessis Project Team Lead

Michael Yessis is Project Team Lead at Clever Real Estate, where he contributes to Real Estate Witch and its sister brands. He’s an authority on first-time home buying, real estate investing, and home buyer financing.  

Previously, Michael covered personal finance and retirement issues, and many real estate market trends that have come and gone, at Work+Money. He’s been an editor at USA Today, AOL, and other publications. He also co-founded and co-edited the travel culture publication WorldHum.com, which was acquired by Discovery Communications. As a writer, he’s contributed to Smithsonian Magazine, AARP Magazine, and other publications.

Michael has won a Lowell Thomas Award as an editor and writer and has been nominated for a Webby Award as an editor.
