Before joining Clever, Matt worked as a journalist for Redding.com, where his coverage earned California Journalism Awards for in-depth reporting, investigative reporting, writing, and coverage of local government. His work has appeared in USA Today, MSN, and Yahoo! News. He is a former USC Annenberg Health Journalism Fellow and intern at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Matt served as an editor at the country’s largest student-run newspaper, The Independent Florida Alligator, based in Gainesville, Fla. He graduated with a journalism degree with high honors from the University of Florida.
