Our take: Clever is our top pick in El Paso for home sellers looking to save on realtor commission without sacrificing full service.
What we like: Clever gets you discounted rates (up to 50%) from non-discount realtors. Plus, Clever’s agent matching service is highly rated and free to use with no obligation.
How it works: Clever matches you with top local realtors from major brokerages like RE/MAX and Compass. You compare options to find the best fit and get the special 1.5% listing fee (same as Redfin) no matter which real estate agent you choose.
Pros
- Sell with a traditional agent from a name-brand brokerage (not a discount agent) and receive full service
- Agents work for up to 50% off their typical rate when you go through Clever
- Most real estate agent selection by far — choose from many top El Paso realtors
Cons
- No guarantee you’ll be able to work with a specific agent or brokerage you have in mind
- Add-ons like professional staging, drone photos, and 3D tours may cost extra (agents will break down what’s included during their listing presentation)
Fee structure
- 1.5% listing fee ($3,000 min.) at closing
- 2–3% buyer’s agent commission at closing

Our take: Redfin’s discount real estate service offers a decent value overall for most home sellers in El Paso.
What we like: Redfin’s 1.5% listing fees can net you solid savings, and you can get an additional 0.5% listing fee savings if you sell and buy with Redfin within 12 months. Redfin is also a large, well-established discount real estate broker with more real estate agents to choose from than many local discount realtors in El Paso.
Things to watch out for: Redfin’s tech-centric and team-based approach to selling isn’t for everyone. Redfin conducts most of the process remotely, and you work with a Lead Agent and a back-office team.
Pros
- Solid listing fee savings
- Established brand and decent discount agent selection
- Tech-forward approach may appeal to some sellers
Cons
- High-volume, team-centric approach may not be for everyone
- Less real estate agent selection than Clever
Fee structure
- 1.5% listing fee ($2,500 min.) at closing
- 2–3% buyer’s agent commission at closing
- 0.5% listing fee refund if you also buy with Redfin within 12 months

Our take: ClientSide Realty offers local discount real estate services at a low flat fee for El Paso residents, but limited customer reviews make it difficult to verify its service quality.
What we like: ClientSide is a full-service discount real estate brokerage that offers a flat $3,000 listing fee. This package includes comparative market analysis, professional photography, closing assistance, and more.
Things to watch out for: This discount real estate broker is an arm of VIP Realty based out of Dallas, but ClientSide doesn’t disclose its location online. Third-party customer reviews specific to ClientSide aren’t available online, making it hard to assess the discount realtor’s performance.
Pros
- Work with a local real estate agent in El Paso
- Only pay $3,000 at closing
Cons
- Most of the realty team may be headquartered in Dallas (may limit in-person interaction)
- Limited reviews from ClientSide customers
Fee structure
- $3,000 listing fee at closing
- 3% buyer’s agent commission fee at closing

Our take: Our Property Team is a discount real estate broker in El Paso that offers a full-service package, but the high upfront fee might be too expensive for some El Paso home sellers looking to save.
What we like: Full-service features like concierge support, varied marketing strategies, and access to a real estate attorney could make the cost worth it for some.
Things to watch out for: $3,504 is a lot to pay upfront. Even full-service traditional commission realtors won’t ask for any money until they sell your home. Make sure you’re comfortable with your assigned real estate agent before signing anything or handing over a check.
Pros
- Professional HDR photos, video, and 3D tour included
- Online showing scheduler, lock box, and lawn sign provided
- Full-service real estate attorney support for legal needs
Cons
- Very high upfront fee
Fee structure
- $3,995 total for full-service ($3,504 due upfront, $495 due at closing)
- A 6-month flat fee MLS-only package is also available for $295. (Learn more.)

Our take: Prevu Real Estate could be a good choice for El Paso home sellers who value transparent pricing and easy communication, but it may lack Texas market expertise.
What we like: Prevu’s online platform makes communicating with your discount real estate agent easy, day or night. Plus, you can get up to a 2% rebate if you choose to buy using a Prevu agent.
Things to watch out for: Prevu has a small presence in El Paso, so you may not find agents with extensive local experience. Also, it’s unclear what the minimum commission fee is for El Paso.
Pros
- Transparent pricing model and good listing fee savings
- Established multi-state operation
- Online platform allows for easy communication with your discount realtor
Cons
- No public reviews or transaction data found specific to El Paso
- Potential lack of market expertise
- Unclear what the minimum listing fee is
Fee structure
- 1.5% listing fee at closing
- 1.5–2.5% buyer’s agent commission at closing
* There is a minimum commission fee, but the website doesn’t disclose the amount.

Our take: Casa By Owner is a local El Paso discount real estate broker that offers a low 1% listing fee, but the discount realtor’s service and pricing information lacks transparency.
What we like: Casa By Owner has over 23 years of experience in the El Paso area and has served over 1,000 customers. The broker’s discounted listing fee is around one-third of the typical selling commission that traditional realtors charge.
Things to watch out for: The service information on Casa By Owner’s website is confusing and vague, which makes it challenging to find specifics about selling packages. We suggest contacting the discount real estate broker directly to learn more about its pricing and services.
Pros
- Low 1% listing fee
- Local El Paso realtor with 20+ years experience
Cons
- Included services aren’t clearly defined on website
- Pricing details lack transparency
Fee structure
- 1% listing fee at closing*
- 3% suggested buyer’s agent commission at closing
*The broker states that the listing fee is “one simple percent” but doesn’t clearly define listing fees.

Other discount real estate brokerages in El Paso
ListingSpark is a flat fee discount real estate broker offering two service tiers, one of which is a Premium Plan with an “agent on demand.” The fees are relatively low ($250–500 upfront, $1,499–2,999 total at closing), but we left ListingSpark off our El Paso list because an on-demand agent isn’t quite the same as hiring a full-service discount real estate broker.
Texas Discount Realty is a referral agent matching service that connects Texas sellers with discount real estate agents in the El Paso area. These agents offer either low commission or flat fee listings. We left Texas Discount Realty off our El Paso list because we couldn’t find details on recent transactions. Pricing may also vary depending on who it matches you with. Reviews for the real estate company are difficult to find as well.

Why trust us
Data sources
Our Research Team gathered 13 discrete pricing and service models to create our initial list of El Paso discount real estate brokerages. We then compiled and analyzed a further 30,000+ publicly-available data points tied to past transactions, customer reviews, and licensing info, and more to categorize each service and create our final list and rankings.
Methodology
The Real Estate Witch Team used public business directories to identify every company in the greater El Paso region calling itself a discount real estate broker or agent. We then filtered that list down and ranked the top El Paso options based on the following criteria:
- Service level: We only included and rated full-service discount real estate brokers to start, which we think are the best option for most home sellers. These companies offer the same key services you’d expect from a traditional realtor, including in-person representation and end-to-end support.
- Pricing: We assessed each company’s fee structure and cross-referenced it with the service model to determine who was offering (a) the best overall value — price vs. service — and (b) the fewest unfavorable pricing terms, like high minimums, nonrefundable upfront fees, or other hidden costs.
- Customer reviews: We evaluated all verifiable customer reviews for each service. We considered not only the total review counts, average customer ratings, and key positive and negative themes, but also assessed factors like how recent and relevant the reviews were to customers making hiring decisions right now.
- Sales activity: We looked at available data about past transactions to gauge sales performance and activity level.
